Dear NHS Supporter

The NHS was recently recognised by the influential Washington Foundation as the world’s best Healthcare Service. You can read about it here.

But as Dr. Alyson Pollock, Professor of Public Medicine at the University of London explains, our NHS is being sold off for profit often in secret (Watch the video).

The People’s NHS is a campaign supported by clinicians and community groups across the UK and backed by UNITE the Union. You can read all about it here.

Your campaign group Save Our NHS Hull and East Yorkshire is working in conjunction with the People’s NHS to hi light the issue of privatisation and make the public aware just what is being done in their name.

JOIN WITH US TO CELEBRATE THE 66th BIRTHDAY OF THE NHS!!

Let’s show the community just what a great service this is, and warn them what will happen if it sold off.

WHEN: Saturday 5th July 11am to 2pm. WHERE: Rose Bowl, Queens Gardens outside the BBC in Hull City Centre.

Community groups are invited as well as local residents. and we will sign a giant birthday card for the NHS and present it to the Hull Clinical Commissioning Group and its East Riding equivalent.

“We are all NHS patients, some of us just haven’t checked in yet” (Danny Marten, cancer survivor when aged 24).

PLEASE CIRCULATE THIS MESSAGE TO YOUR CONTACTS!!!
